participants may be eligible to receive the following services:
• Assistance Services may include:
- Heating/Cooling Bills
- Food
- Transportation Costs
• Diversion Services (not to exceed lifetime limit of $5,000 per family.)
- Up to three months.
- Dollar amounts depend on available funds and specific need.
- Work expenses such as uniforms, tools.
- Mortgage, rent or other housing expenses.
- Car repairs
- Child Care Costs
• Emergency Services (non-recurring short-term benefit.)
- Specific crisis related service
• Support Services (possible services, but not limited to:)
- Childcare
- Transportation
- Tools/equipment
- Grooming & cosmetic expenses
- Substance abuse (after all resources are exhausted)
- Mental health (after all resources are exhausted)
- Dental services
- Eye glasses
- Culturally relevant support
- Educational or training activities
SERVICE AREA
The Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria Tribal TANF
Program called, “Tribal TANF of Sonoma and Marin”,
will structure their program activities according to the
needs of eligible needy Indian families from federally
recognized tribes who reside in Sonoma and Marin
counties. Individual family will have case plans that are
tailored to meet individual or family needs and can be
centered around cultural and traditional practices so as
to preserve and protect Native American communities
and cultures.
